A GYM MEMBERSHIP MAY BE RIGHT UP YOUR ALLEY IF....
Neighborhood traffic or neighborhood thugs make outdoor exercise around home, school, or work a recipe for getting run-over or mugged.
• Work interferes with outdoor exercise during the daylight hours.
• You need the coaching or fitness advice a health club can provide.
• A club offers equipment and facilities you need (exercise machines, swimming pool, basketball court, racquetball courts).
• A health club offers classes, group sports, and or a mix of activities that motivate you to exercise.
• You need a social component to your workouts – e.g., people to talk to, talk with, or talk at.
• You want to connect with others and, hopefully, develop training partners.
• Watching people (or being watched) makes workouts fun.
• You want to maximize your time—many people find that it only takes an hour to change, work out for 30 minutes, and shower at a health club.
NOW FOR ME PERSONALLY....THE MOMENT I WALK INTO THE FRONT DOOR OF MY HOUSE, I GO FROM WORK MODE TO RELAX MODE. WHICH MAKES IT REALLY HARD TO GET AN INTENSE WORKOUT ACCOMPLISHED. BUT THE MOMENT I ENTER GYM DOORS...BACK TO "WORK" MODE.
